Thakurgaon Superintendent of Police Uttam Prasad Pathak addressed the press conference organized by Thakurgaon District Police. Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Apps) Md. Asaduzzaman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mithun Sarkar, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station ABM Feroz Wahid, Thakurgaon Press Club President Mansoor Ali, Senior Journalist Md. Thakurgaon District Superintendent of Police Uttam Prasad Pathak said that on December 13 last year, 2 female students of Jamiatul Islah Ala Nahjib Sahabi (RA) Madrasa went missing in Goalpara area of Thakurgaon city. Later a general diary was made on this matter. Based on this, a team led by Sadar police station SI (retd) Md Ehsanul Kabir rescued the 2 female students from a family mess in Sadraganj area of Kashimpur police station in Gazipur. In this incident, Md. Ershad Mia, son of Md. Mofiz Uddin, of Kazipara village of Kaunia police station of Rangpur district was arrested. On the other hand, 4 active members of the dacoit gang were arrested in the operation of Sadar police station. The arrested are Bipul Islam (24) son of Dolowar Hossain of Araji Pastampur village of Sadar upazila, Anwar Hossain (30) son of Nazrul Islam of Harinarayanpur (Goapara) area, Md Anarul (27) son of Abu Taher of Beltala village and Harun Islam son of Md Raju of the same village. . In addition, Md. Palash alias Masud Rana (36) was arrested from a house in Munsipara of the city, who gave fake CID identity, said the Superintendent of Police.
